You can login 1 of 2 ways:

1. SSO using your School email.
This option is available if your school has set up and initiated a direct integration with 220 Youth Leadership. You can confirm with your 220 School/District lead if this is set up.

If this is you, click on "Sign in with SSO using your School email", enter your email on the next screen and then login through SSO.

If your school's integration is not live yet, and you are a teacher, you will sign in the second way- instructions below.

2. Unique 220 Username and Password
For our afterschool and workforce partners, you will typically have students sign in using a separate username and password.

Once your account is created, you will receive an email from "220 Leadership" (support@220leadership.com) titled Welcome to 220! (create your password), shown below.

You will click on the words in blue "clicking here" as shown above and create your password.

Please note passwords must have at least 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase letter, 1 number and 1 special character.

If you don't see your welcome email, check out the answer below on how to move forward.

If you and others at your organization are unable to receive emails from 220 or the 220 Platform, such as your welcome email or a reset password email then the best next step is to have your organization's IT Department Whitelist some key 220 URLs and some key email sender names:

Once your IT department has been able to whitelist these domains and email senders then you can try to reset your password again.

Don't worry we have a few ways we can help with this!

The first thing is to double (and triple) check you have entered your email address and password in correctly.
Reach out to your Instructor to give you your login details again or help troubleshoot logging on.
If you are not able to log on or reach your instructor, you can always reset your password on our log in page:

Go to the 220 Platform Login Page
Click "RESET PASSWORD"
Type in your email address and click "ok"
Then it will allow you to set a new password and login!

When you have exhausted the other options, please email support@220leadership.com to help you log in to your account.

The best thing to do is to re-watch the video and re-read the information that you have learned in this module.

It's important to take notes and then you can use those notes to help you pass the quiz.

Once you have reviewed all of the module information, you can try the quiz again.

Click back into the course you have been working on. Within every module, there will be a blue check mark next to the section name if you have fully completed that section.

Once you have a blue check mark next to every section in every module and you have submitted all of your work, then your course will show 100% completed.

Absolutely! Once you have completed any of the 220 courses, you can definitely add them to your resume. It's always great to showcase your newly acquired skills and knowledge! You can also add this class and your certificate to LinkedIn profile.

Lastly, it's great to share about your experience and what you have learned through 220 Leadership in job interviews, college applications, and more! This shows skills you have learned that set you apart from others and your dedication to this course and program. This also shows (and you should say this too) that you are always willing to learn more and grow your skills/experience. You are a lifelong learner :)

Here are a couple of tips to help with uploading documents on our platform:

Uploading files (PDFs)

Please make sure that the document you are uploading is the right format and size. If your document is too big, you may need to choose a different format that is better support, such as, changing to saving this as a PDF instead of a .jpg or word document.

Uploading Links

If you're having issues with a link to a shared file (like a Google Docs or link to a video), make sure you have set the sharing permissions to "anyone with the link can view" and try again.
If you're still unable to upload a link, try uploading it as a file by turning it into a PDF. On the top left go to "File", "Download" and choose "PDF Document (.pdf)". Save this document to your computer. Now upload this PDF document instead of trying to insert the google documents link.

General Tips

Check your internet connection is strong enough to support the upload. If the upload is trying to upload, but cannot because of your connection, let your instructor know about your challenges and try uploading again when you can connect to a stronger internet or WIFI connection.

Please make sure that you are opening the links on your computer, chrome book, or other larger device. Accessing the link through your mobile or cell phone is a bit tricky.

If you are still having problem accessing the links, please first email your instructor to help troubleshoot this. If this is unsuccessful, then email support@220leadership.com to help access the links you need.

When you are ready to submit your assignment and have arrived at the "Assignment: Upload..." lesson, click "Start".
Make sure you have saved your workbook to your computer and you know where to find this or what you named this document.
You will want to click "My Device" and find your document. Once you have found this document click on the document.
Then click the blue button below that is titled "Upload". Once your document has uploaded successful it will show the word "Complete" with a green checkmark.
Once your document has uploaded you can add additional comments or click the blue arrow at the bottom right of the screen to go to the next page.
Then you will follow the instructions on the second page to note that you presented in-person or to uploaded your videotaped presentation.
Once this is complete, hit submit at the bottom of the page. This screen will let you know you have successfully submitted your workbook and presentation.
Then you can move on to the next section to take the assessment and more!

If you are able to log on, but don't know where to find the courses, follow these steps:

On your home screen that is titled, "220 Online Courses"
Click the blue "My Dashboard" above the image shaped like a laptop with pictures of our 220 Courses on it. There is also a "My Dashboard" button at the top right of your screen next to "Get Help"
This will take you to your dashboard of all the courses you are currently enrolled in.
If you were recently working in a course and want to get back to that module, you can click the blue button on the right side of your screen titled, "Continue where I left off" next to "Go to my profile"
Or you can click on the course you would like to start or continue your progress in.
Once you have clicked the course, scroll down the page to either the first module 00 and click "Course Intro" if you have not start the course or click on the module you were most recently working in.

You can see your progress or how long you have spent working in the 220 course(s) one of two ways:

To estimate how many hours you have been working:

You can click into the course you are working on. There are blue checkmarks next to all of the sections you have fully completed. Then there is a time estimate for this section on the right hand side. You may have spent more time on this section, but at a minimum you have spent the time noted on the right hand side because the platform doesn't allow you to move on to the next section faster than that estimated about of time.

To see your individual course progress, you can:

On your home screen, click "My Dashboard, in clue above the image of a 220 laptop or the tab in the top right of the screen that is also titled, "My Dashboard".
Once you are in your dashboard, on the right side of the screen click, "Go to my profile"
In your profile, scroll down to see the images of course cards you are enrolled in. There is a white number percentage that says how much you have completed of the course so far. For example, if could say 0% if you have not started the course or it could say any other number from 0-100%.

There are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
1. Clear your browser cookies and cache: Corrupted cookies or cached data can sometimes interfere with website functionality. Here are some resources on how to do this for different browsers:

Firefox
Safari
Edge

2. Delete your browsing history: While less likely than clearing cookies, deleting your browsing history can also help resolve some loading issues.

3. Try a different browser: If the problem persists after clearing your cookies and history, try accessing your courses on a different browser to see if the issue is specific to your current browser.

4. Check for browser updates: Make sure you're using the latest version of your browser. Outdated browsers can sometimes have compatibility issues with websites.

If you've tried all of these suggestions and the issue continues, please email us with some additional information:

The specific browser you're using.
Any error messages you encounter when the courses stop loading.
The device you're using to access the courses (computer, phone, tablet).

Our programs are designed for college and high school students ages 14+, although they have been used with mature middle school students. These courses meet students where they are now, which is why they've been used successfully with both college and high school students.

Most programs teach static content based on what they think you need to know.

220 Programs focus on success strategies and frameworks that apply to any discipline. Students provide the content based on their unique strengths, talents and passions.

This allows students to create a personalized plan for success that unlocks motivation helps them reach their full potential.

220 collects data from its users for the sole purpose of facilitating the program and will not be sold or repurposed in any way. Access controls, data encryption, and other data protection controls are managed by our hosting platform, LearnWorlds. We wanted to create a for-profit business to have the ultimate impact for our partners, students, and communities. While the nature of our work is typically seen as "non-profit work" we didn't want to rely on grant funding to do the work we knew was necessary to shift the future of education. Our business model allows us to grow our programs and reach through the needs we identify in the marketplace while allowing us to give back financially to programs and students who need it most. 220 donates 2.20% of net profits each year to support WagiLabs programs and students. WagiLabs is an organization that uses its 100% free and open-source curriculum to teach entrepreneurship to young students across the world. Each year, we do a select number of custom webinars for our customers. We are unable to do custom webinars for groups who do not already have a 220 membership. The Leadership Track: Most individuals never reach their potential because our one-size-fits-all education fails to develop their purpose. This course helps participants unlock motivation by creating a limitless 10-year vision and connecting that future to their current goals, behavior, and schedule. This asynchronous student-facing online course includes 18 modules, videos, articles, workbook, and challenges. The Leadership Course helps individuals set their vision and then determine the behaviors they need to engage in to turn their vision into reality. This typically includes organizing and executing a job search, as well as obtaining a certification, credential, or degree. The course supports participants with the smaller steps necessary to complete a successful job search, earn a certification or credential, or complete an educational achievement. This unique course is designed to be specific to individuals’ career pathway needs.

The Resume + Interview Track: Most resumes look bad and undersell that person’s value. Participants get a step-by-step tutorial with templates and examples on how to create a professional resume that stands out to employers and schools. Participants also take the next step in starting to build a network with professionals in their desired industry. Most individuals are terrified of the interview room because they don’t know what to expect. Participants learn how to prepare and dominate the predictable structure of 99% of interviews with expected questions, answer scripts, and practical worksheets. Participants also learn how to make their social media accounts professional in a way that elevates their personal brand. This asynchronous student-facing online course includes 18 modules, articles, workbook, and practice questions.

The Workforce Track: An 18-module learning experience designed to empower each student with the mindset and skills youth need to become a leader in today's workforce- whether they're working for a company or organization, as a freelancer or as an entrepreneur. Your students will learn how to: Recognize the difference between a low performer and a high performer in the workplace; Adopt the mindset and attitude necessary to become a top performer in the workplace; Apply professionalism to everything they do, from being on time, to how they dress, to how they communicate, to how they get stuff done; Become a dependable contributor for their organizations by getting things done well and on-time; Go above and beyond the minimum requirementsWork well with a diverse group of people specific to their workplace goals and situations.

The Personal Finance Track: Most people never learn how to manage their personal finances. This practical course will empower individuals to create their own personal budget and learn how to take control of their financial future. This asynchronous student-facing online course includes 18 modules, videos, articles, and a personal budget spreadsheet template.

The Entrepreneurship Track: Most jobs in the 21st Century will require successful employees to be creative, self-led, and entrepreneurial. This course teaches individuals how to create a conceptual startup by creating a modern business plan using The 220 Launch Canvas, understand and apply the 6 cornerstones of successful companies, and improve Teamwork and Leadership skills through the process.

Working with us and using our courses is not the cheapest solution on the market. But, if you use the components of our programs you'll not only see the transformational impact on your students/staff, but you'll see the ROI for your organization. Most 220 partners access new funding streams based on the nature of our programs and the funding they're able to win based on the program outcomes and technology. Our customer is someone who is interested in building something new and on the cutting edge of education.

We ensure your students are progressing through the required course material in 3 ways:

Course quizzes that are prerequisites before they can move on to the next lesson.
Course workbooks and templates to ensure students are relating the course material back to their own situation, life and future.
Progress Reports to monitor how much of each course your students have completed.
End-of-course graded presentations where students showcase their hard work and the knowledge and skills they've gained.

We provide seven layers of support for your organization throughout our work together:

The 220 Onboarding Course- this course has everything you and your staff need to get onboarded. We go through the platform and all program components, including student enrollment and all key links.
Weekly Office Hours- every week, you and your staff will have access to our office hours. During office hours, you can ask our founders questions about the programs, anything specific to your program, or how you're looking to make the most out of a specific module for your students. This time is open for our partners to get the customized help they need to use 220 effectively.
Post-Purchase Emails and Checkins- You will receive regular updates from our team to make sure you're up to date in the course.

Many organizations across the country have used our programs to support or exclusively provide SEL for their programs and students. Instead of students experiencing these skills through a ""Self-Awareness"" module, students learn by doing, and build these capacities by pursuing goals based on choice- their choice. This results in natural motivation, increased persistence and higher likelihood of goal achievement and incidental skill-building.

Self-Management and Self-Awareness: The Leadership Course challenges students to look inward and examine their emotions, thoughts, values and behaviors like never before. Students identify their natural interests, existing passions, unique strengths and strong beliefs; how these things impact their thoughts, actions and relationships, and how they can leverage these things to develop their purpose and create an extraordinary life. Then, our additional courses provide the frameworks and tools to help them achieve their ultimate professional, financial and relationship goals- whether that's through working at their dream company or becoming a freelancer or entrepreneur. Students learn how to set audacious, measurable goals; how to break those goals down into smaller, actionable steps; and build the support team they need to start working towards that extraordinary life.
Social Awareness and Relationship Skills: Our courses help students set life-altering goals that guide their thoughts, actions, values and relationships. These goals provide a meaningful reason for students to choose optimism, positive relationships, healthy behavior and mutually beneficial relationships; not destructive behavior or negative choices. Students demonstrate leadership through leading by example (building skills and accomplishing goals); develop empathy by asking, answering and listening to deep, personal goals, beliefs and experiences; and working in teams to accomplish exciting projects that will benefit their peers and their community.Responsible Decision-Making: Their life-altering vision from The Leadership Course provides the foundation for their decision-making. By having a higher purpose, students are incentivized to make positive near-term decisions that benefit themselves and others so they stay on track towards their long-term goals. Our courses challenge students with limited structure and student-driven content so they learn to evaluate the quality, diversity and ambiguity of information before making decisions. They also learn to make decisions faster so they get more comfortable with failure and being wrong, which gives them the ability to course-correct and get to the ultimate goal faster."

220 Programs have the greatest impact when the students who are using the platform have a deep passion/interest. If students are deeply interested in STEM (or sports, fashion, music, video games, art, etc.) we are able to tap into their intrinsic motivation and help them put that energy into productive activities. We love working with our STEM partners because it provides foundational hard skill development that we complement with our programs that focus on the wrap around skills like personal development, leadership, and professional communication.

We get this question a lot, and we love answering it. We work with a lot of at-risk, low-income and first-generation students. We don't treat them any differently. Conventional practices say we need to adjust the way we talk to and work with these students because of what they're experiencing or what they've been through. While trauma-informed practices are absolutely helpful, what we NEVER should do is make them feel like they are different and less capable than other students. Maybe they're starting a lot further behind. Maybe they're going through incredible obstacles. But that should never diminish their potential and we need to help them realize this. The equalizers for all students of all races, demographics, backgrounds and personalities are these:

Every student has the right and opportunity to pursue a meaningful and exciting life
Every student starts from somewhere, and every student has goals they want to achieve (whether they realize it yet or not).
Every student faces obstacles.
Every student has unique gifts, talents and passions.
Every student can be intrinsically motivated to use these gifts, talents and passions if we help them unlock an exciting future.

It is our job to help them uncover what a compelling future means to them, then help them work backwards to connect this future to your program, their school and their near-term goals. Starting points are starting points. Obstacles are obstacles. But these should never impact the audacity or excitement of their goals and what we can do to help them get there.

The Champion is the main point of contact for your organization and 220 Leadership. They manage the partnership and act as a liaison and connection between 220 Leadership and your organization.

The Champion:

Supports instructors and students with any planning, questions, and tech or platform troubleshooting.
Maintains consistent communication with 220 and immediately updates 220 and seeks 220 support with questions or challenges your organization is facing.
Manages the schedule and updates 220 when the original implementation schedule needs to be adjusted and helps the instructors adjust and communicate the new schedule.
Attends quarterly check-in meetings with 220 Leadership and consistently updates their Partner Lead (aka the "buyer" or person who adopted/chose to use 220 Leadership for your organization) on the status of their organization's 220 implementation
Manages instructor and student enrollment on the 220 Platform

Every 220 Course (except for the Middle School Transition Course) has 18 total modules (lessons). We estimate every lesson taking 30-60 minutes so we estimate an entire course taking 16-18 hours total.

What is the suggested schedule for a course or is there only one way to implement a course schedule?

When we were creating the 220 Courses and Program in general, it was very important to us for organizations to be able to design a schedule and module cadence that aligns best with their organization. So in short, there is no one right way to do this or required/suggested schedule!

We won't leave you hanging though, please see below for important information and tips in order to create the best schedule and module cadence for your organization:

At a minimum, the schedule we suggest is students taking or completing 1 module per week. The total course would then take 18 weeks (4.5 months) to complete. **Don't forget holiday breaks or other non-working days.

At a maximum, some organizations have students complete an entire course in 1 week. This is only possible when students do not have much other work to do during the week and can focus 16-18 solid hours on the 220 course.

Here is a breakdown of some other schedule options for completing one 220 course:

2 modules per week, 9 weeks total to complete the course
3 modules per week, 6 weeks total to complete the course
6 modules per week, 3 weeks total to complete the course
9 modules per week, 2 weeks total to complete the course

**You do not have to do the same amount of modules every week. For example, if you have 5 weeks for a course, you can break this down in different ways to complete all 18 modules, such as three weeks completing 4 per week modules and the last 2 weeks completing 3 modules per week)

Our goal with every organization we work with is to have at least 90% of students complete at least one 220 course.

When they do, they get exciting results- as shown in The 220 Onboarding Course.

This Training Course also includes information about our course structure and content, best practices learned ourselves and from other instructors around the country and guides to make implementation, support and grading easy and fun.

Finally, each Instructor Course includes step-by-step lesson plans and slides with presenter notes (both for in-person), instructor views of the lessons your students see (online) and grading rubrics to make it easy for you, and help you get the most out of your students.

Students are enrolled in 1 of 2 ways:

#1: Your school sets up automatic rostering through your LMS or SIS.

In this instance, enrollment happens automatically when we have finalized our integration with your school. This allows for students and teachers to use SSO, rostering, and final grade passback (if the integration is with your LMS).

Once the integration is complete, you will receive an email letting you know your account has been upgraded to back end access. You can still complete The Onboarding Course and your specific course training before your admin access and student accounts are live.

#2: Manual enrollment using your User Group.
For most of our afterschool and workforce partners, you will be able to enroll students yourselves using their name and email address.

Once we set up your User Group access, you can enroll students 1 at a time, or via bulk csv upload.

To avoid these steps, we typically see the most issues with work email addresses for both staff and students.

We see the least issues with personal email addresses (like gmail or yahoo).

In order to access the grading, student progress, and reports (back end for Instructors/Champions) , you can either:

click on “My Students” on the left-hand side navigation menu, or
turquoise pencil on the left-hand side of your screen (shown below).

Yes, each student will get their own unique account.

They will either login using:

1. SSO if your school has set up a direct integration with 220.
2. a username (their email address) and their password.

In Option #2, students receive a welcome email where they click and set their password for the first time.

Go to your back end access by clicking "My Students" or the turquoise pen on the left side of your screen and view your "School Dashboard".
Under "My School" click "Reports Center"

There are two ways to view user progress:

Scroll to the bottom where your "Users" are listed. Next to any student or instructor name click the turquoise drop down arrow. This will show you this student's progress in each of the courses they have been given access to, among other details about their progress.
At the top, you can type in the individual student name in the "User name contains" section. This will just pull up the student you want to view.
You can go to "Select a course" to view all of your class's progress in one course

How to view student hours/time spent through their User Profile:

Go to your back end access by clicking the turquoise pen on the left side of your screen and view your "School Dashboard".
Under "My School" click "Users"
Under "Users" click "All Users"
At the top, in the search box, type in your student's name. Sometimes you need to type this in a few different ways for the system to pull up the correct student. You can first try their full name. If that doesn't work, then you can try just their first name or first name and first letter of their last name. You can also search for their last name. Make sure to try a few different ways before thinking this student isn't enrolled in our system. Sometimes it can be finnicky, but with some different tries you can find your student!
Once your student is showing below, click this specific student's name to view their profile.
Click the "Courses" tab and then click which course you would like to view.
View the "Time spent" column. This will show at the top overall how much time the student has spent in the course and also the amount of time they spent in individual sections if you continue to scroll down.
If you go to the "Compl." (Completion) column and hover your mouse over the "No" or "Yes" for the overall course, you will see a menu of options pop up of Reports you can export, that include: Time Spent (by date), Time Spent (by activity), and Score.

How to view student hours/time spent through their Student Progress:

Go to your back end access by clicking the turquoise pen on the left side of your screen and view your "School Dashboard".
Under "My School" click "Reports Center"
Under "User Analytics" click "User Progress"
Search and find the specific user or student you are looking for.
Then view the Column "Study Time" to see overall how much time they have spent learning on the platform. There is also a column for the "Total Time Spent on the Platform"
If you click the drop down arrow to the left of the student's name you can view how much time has been spent on the specific course(s) and their percentage of progress within that course.

Quick tips:

If your organization chose the synchronous or instructor-led method, then yes you will be teaching every module/lesson in the course in-person to students, similar to a traditional classroom setting.
If your organization chose the asynchronous or student online course method, then no your role will be more like a facilitator supporting students with their online learning. They may need help with tech support or may have questions on the content/assignments that you will help clarify for them. You will also be in charge of grading their work and managing their student progress.
If your organization chose the hybrid method of a combination of in-person and online learning, then you may be teaching some lessons in-person. It is best to check with your champion or other team members using 220 to understand how you all have customized your hybrid method since this can look different for everyone. Sometimes the in-person aspect is just a learning communication or discussion with students about their self-paced online learning and sometimes it is the instructor actually teaching that module or lesson in person.
